About Artune Education

Artune Education is a music education planning platform founded by professional musicians and international education advisors, guiding young musicians and their families across the UK, China and beyond.

Founders

The people behind Artune

Artune was founded by two colleagues who saw the same need from different sides: one from the concert platform and the teaching studio, the other from the world of school admissions and international education.

Our Story

Why Artune exists

Artune Education began with a question we heard again and again from families: where do we begin? Parents told us they felt lost about when to start planning, how to prepare for scholarships, competitions, examinations, applications and performances — and, above all, how to choose the right teacher.

Too often, families were left to navigate these decisions alone, piecing together advice from many directions. We believed young musicians deserved something more considered: a single, coherent plan shaped by people who know the terrain.

What Artune brings is the perspective of professional musicians, joined with genuine international experience. Our team understands both UK and Chinese music education — the examinations, the schools, the expectations and the opportunities — and can translate between them for families whose lives cross both worlds.

We also take the long view. Our concern is not only today’s lessons, but a student’s long-term musicianship: artistry, stage experience, competitiveness and the career possibilities that a well-planned musical education can open.

Our Mission

What guides our work

Our mission is to guide students with a rigorous, professional and internationally minded approach to music education. We support young musicians in building strong technical foundations, artistic confidence, academic readiness and long-term development pathways across the UK, China and beyond.

Rigorous & professional

Every plan is shaped by professional musicians who hold students to the standards of artistic excellence — thoughtfully, patiently and without shortcuts.

Personalised planning

No two students follow the same path. We build each plan around the individual — instrument, level, temperament and long-term development — rather than around a template.

UK–China perspective

With experience across both systems, we help families move confidently between UK and Chinese music education, and towards opportunities beyond both.
